I’ve always loved photobooths—they capture the best memories! But since they’re not always easy to find, I built this app to bring that experience to your fingertips.
It’s a fun, personal project that recreates the charm of a classic photobooth: stacked photos, a simple text overlay, and an effortless way to save your snapshots. Whether you’re making silly faces with friends, snapping cute couple pictures, or just striking your best pose, you can create that nostalgic photo strip right from your browser—no coins, no hassle, just fun!
things you might ask
How do I use this app?
Just allow camera permissions, pose for three photos (there’s a countdown for each one), and download your photobooth strip when you’re done! Why isn’t the camera working on my iPhone/iPad?
On iOS, some browsers (like Safari) have restrictions that may prevent the camera from working properly. Try using a different browser or checking your settings to allow camera access. Can I use this on mobile?
It works best on a desktop or laptop, but you can try it on mobile! Just make sure your browser allows camera access. For the best photobooth vibe, rotate your phone to landscape mode. Why is the screen black even after allowing camera access?
Your camera permissions might be blocked. Go to: Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera Turn on: "Let apps access your camera" and "Let desktop apps access your camera".Why does my camera feed start black?
That’s intentional! The app waits until you accept camera permissions before displaying the video feed. Can I customize the photobooth strip?
Right now, it automatically adds a date overlay and a white border with “Photobooth” text at the bottom. If there’s enough interest, I might add customization options in the future! Why does it take three pictures?
Because that’s the classic photobooth experience! Plus, it gives you a chance to change poses and make the strip more fun.Do you store my photos or data?
Nope! Your photos stay on your device and never get uploaded or stored anywhere. Everything happens locally in your browser, so you have full control over your images.
